Read Flake | Owner/President
Read, his wife VaNae, and their kids make their home in Alvin. After a 22 year career working for big corporations such as United Airlines, Read wanted to start a small business more connected to the local community. Having experienced poor and inconsistent service from several area pest control companies, Read saw an opportunity to provide a high-quality, customer-focused service at a reasonable price. An entrepreneur at heart, Read put his operational and marketing experience to good use and founded Green Country Pest Control.
Read graduated in Communications and Business from Brigham Young University and earned an MBA from Northwestern University. Outside of work, Read enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family, along with their five cats, six cows and horse Buddy.
Colin Blanks | Ops Manager
Colin Blanks brings years of hands-on experience and a proven dedication to service excellence in his role as Operations Manager at Green Country Pest Control. Known for his leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Colin works closely with his team to ensure efficient operations, high-quality service, and lasting results for every client.
He lives in League City with his wife, Cynthia. Outside of work—and when not furthering his pest control education—Colin enjoys beekeeping, collecting vinyl records, and experimenting in the kitchen as a passionate cook.
Crystal | Office Manager
Crystal and her husband Uvaldo reside in Rosharon close to their five children and four grandchildren. Crystal obtained two associate degrees from Alvin Community College in Business & Finance and Human Resource Management.
She brings extensive experience in HR, quality control and customer service to Green Country Pest Control ensuring that our customers issues are quickly and successfully resolved.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys fishing at Bastrop Bayou and spending time with her family. Her #1 joy is being a Nana!
